Amie Marchini was born and raised in Le
Grand, California, and realized early on
that she wanted to make a positive difference
in people’s lives. At 19, she began
working as a Caregiver at Park Merced, where
she discovered her passion for helping the
earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Gerontology,
Amie noticed the growing need in her community
for elder care facilities and home care services
for seniors. With her knowledge of the “Study
of Aging” and her passion for serving
seniors, Amie started Amie Marchini Home Care
(then called Mission’s Care Management)
in 2001, now celebrating its 16th year of
helping seniors and their loved ones by providing
qualified caregivers to assist seniors in
their own homes.
2003, she purchased and completely renovated
Mission Gardens, a 15 bed Residential Care
Facility for the Elderly. As the reputation
of Mission Gardens and Amie Marchini Home
Care grew, Amie’s desire to provide
exceptional care for Merced’s elderly
prompted her to expand her business. In 2010,
she purchased Park Merced Assisted Living
continues to fill a critical need in the community
by adhering to a “Pledge of Ethics”
and standards of practice in serving seniors
and providing peace of mind to their families.
Her motto, “working hard every day to
keep my word of delivering exceptional care
to the elderly,” guides her life.
Amie is also heavily involved in community
affairs, which has helped her to become the
most well-known and highly respected elder
care provider in Merced County.

Mission Gardens, as well as Home Care. Merced has
been home for more than 30 years. I've watched the
community grow while working as a reporter for the
Merced Sun-Star and later as a marketing manager for
the Merced County Fair. I started and oversaw the
fair's social media program. I've also done freelance
public relations, writing and editing projects for
a variety of clients including Mercy Hospital, Merced
County Office of Education, UC Merced and Label Technologies.
